Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is
designed to stress early recognition and management of
potentially life threatening problems in the pediatric
patient versus "running a code". This program stresses early
treatment to prevent arrest in the pediatric patient.
Using case based scenarios, interactive
skills stations, lectures and testing stations, student will
receive instruction in recognition and management of
respiratory failure & shock, basic life support, and airway
management, rhythm disturbances,, Vascular access, trauma
and managing cardiopulmonary arrest in infants & Children.
