Domestic violence is an ever increasing
issue. Over 200 people a year are killed as a result of
domestic violence predominantly women. Florida has mandated
that all licensed healthcare providers receive information
on domestic violence as it relates to spousal abuse, dating
abuse, impact of violence in the home on children, and the
impact of violence perpetrated against children by other
adults.
